During night shifts or weekend shifts, there are usually even more residents per nurse, as the number of staff is reduced again. This increases the risk of accidents enormously. It is therefore important to provide aids that save time in the daily care processes.

Weighing residents can be particularly time-consuming, especially if the beds have to be moved using a bed lift. In beds with integrated weighing systems, this sensor technology is usually already integrated. For example, the automatic comfort seat moves the bed to the preset sitting position: for comfortable television and reading, for eating or for communication at eye level. Mobilization with the lift is effectively supported in this position. In addition, this position facilitates breathing and digestion, spatial perception is trained for bedridden residents and circulation is stimulated.
