wissner-bosserhoff – Your reliable partner in the prevention of deprivation measures (FeM): With SafeSense®, wissner-bosserhoff presents an assistance system with intelligent sensor technology that reliably supports the reduction of FeM * day and night. It is equipped with an after-light automatic, which is activated at the bed exit and goes out when the resident is back in bed. SafeSense® is compatible with standard nurse call systems and can be retrofitted or upgraded for wissner-bosserhoff nursing beds from 2002 onwards.
Effective decubitus prevention
The ergonomic division of the lying surface contributes to the avoidance of pressure and thus to decubitus reduction. The dimensions of the 4-part lying surface of wissner-bosserhoff care beds are based on the average height of a person. Based on the findings of Prof. Eigler, it can be seen that the backrest area should be at least 80 cm long to effectively support the cervical spine. An additional reduction in pressure loads is achieved by the BiNetic lying area for larger than average residents through its integrated bed extension: With the tool-free express bed extension, the lying surface can be extended temporarily or with extension insert also permanently to 220 cm, thus preventing a bumping of the legs on the foot.
