I was already familiar with wissner-bosserhoff before I applied here last year. At that time, I had already completed my training as an industrial clerk here and then worked for some time in strategic purchasing. After my business studies in Cologne, I worked for 6 ½ years for a DIY retailer in the area of eCommerce (online store B2C) with omnichannel function. There I gained a lot of experience around digital business.
Now I am back and leading the IT, eCommerce and MDM team to take wissner-bosserhoff into the eCommerce world. Digital, analytical process understanding is very important for this, but change management among colleagues should not be ignored either.
What is important to me about my employer? Clearly honesty and the opportunity to discuss things openly. The flat hierarchies here at wissner-bosserhoff suit this very well. My personal highlight at wissner-bosserhoff was an „excursion“ with our colleague Frank Jacobs. Together we took the Sprinter to Slany near Prague to celebrate the annual summer party with colleagues from our sister company Linet. I have great memories of that.
I live in Holzwickede with my wife and our 19-month-old son. I super enjoy attending events and like to spend my little time listening to music and relaxing cooking. My big goal in life actually has nothing to do „with internet“. I would love to open lavender fields in the south of France or a beach cafe in Costa Rica – on bad days I would also love to open a nail salon in Gelsenkirchen 😉
