Time to say goodbye
After 14 years of HR work at wissner-bosserhoff, I am now saying „goodbye and take care“. Looking back, I can say that it was never boring because there were always new topics and challenges.
I am very proud to have been part of the wibo success story over the last 14 years. We have managed and achieved a lot together, and I would like to thank all my colleagues, employees and co-workers who have contributed to this success story and thus also secured my income.
Unfortunately, before my time at wissner-bosserhoff, I had to experience painfully what it’s like when your salary payment is a gamble every month. If you were unlucky, it was like playing roulette: „nothing works anymore“. I can still remember my son’s question, „Do I have to quit my studies now?”. I never wanted to hear that question again. And I never heard it again either.
For me, in addition to the demands and a certain amount of freedom in my job, it was always very important that I could identify with the company I worked for and that most of the employees could do the same.
When I asked a job applicant what she didn’t like at all, she said: „When people don’t listen to me”. I can agree with that without reservation. Communication, and that includes listening, is the most important thing for me in HR work.
I will now first have to learn how to deal with my free time. I think that’s something every new retiree has to learn. But since I am a pleasure-seeker in every respect, I will certainly succeed.
