I have been working at wissner-bosserhoff since 1986 and therefore I am one of the old hands here. As a trained steel and metal construction fitter, I have already passed through several stations in this long time. I worked in the final assembly of bedside cabinets and in the final assembly of the first lifting columns for our vitalia care beds at that time. For several years, I was responsible for the external assembly of our nursing beds directly at the customer’s site throughout Germany and also abroad. For almost exactly 25 years now, I have been part of our team in the incoming goods department.
I like my job very much and especially appreciate the good interaction in our team of 5. This togetherness is extremely important to me. In addition to strong team spirit, communication skills and stamina are a must for us. When I go home after a successful day with concentration and fun at work, I am completely satisfied. As far as my employer is concerned, it is very important to me that a feeling of appreciation is conveyed, that promises are kept and that the company remains loyal to our production site in Wickede (Ruhr).
In my free time, I enjoy working with wood. I live with my wife and our two children in our beautiful house in Wickede (Ruhr), which is near my workplace. Unfortunately, a persistent illness threw me off track for about 14 months. But fortunately, I was able to see something good out of it. This time has motivated me and shown me that I can do anything I set my mind to, in private life as well as in professional life.
