Active and safe mobilization is essential for residents

People who are bedridden have limited mobility. Movement and mobility have a positive and preventive effect on patients under nursing care. Quick mobilization (early mobilization), for example, can reduce the risk of post-surgical complications. Mobilizing residents in nursing care facilities does not always come without the risk of falls – this is particularly true for residents who suffer from dementia.

Mobi-Lift® has already proven to be an exceptionally helpful mobilization aid for our clinical beds. That’s why we now also offer this useful feature for our intelligent low nursing bed sentida 7-i as well. The resident can fold out Mobi-Lift® himself and use it for mobilization. The height can be adjusted with a button that is integrated into the knob of the handle.

The mobility of persons confined to bed is limited. If this restricted mobility is not countered, patients develop immobility syndrome. RISKS:

• Risk of thrombosis
• Risk of pressure ulcers
• Confusion
• Change in respiratory function
• Risk of constipation

Self-mobilization thanks to Mobi-Lift®

• When getting up, residents can pull out and use the mobilization aid integrated into the bed side by themselves
• Special feature: Mobi-Lift® is equipped with an integrated function key for height adjustment of the bed
• The nursing staff is relieved of strain concerning both autonomous and supported mobilization

With sentida 7-i, wissner-bosserhoff does not only continue the success story of universal and low nursing beds, it also sets new standards in electronics and intelligent sensors, which previously had only been available for hospital beds. At the same time, the nursing home bed maintains the cozy design that distinguishes all wissner-bosserhoff products.
